Shift: Early Morning (5:00 - 13:00 / 06:00 – 14:00)
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
About the Role: We are seeking an experienced AM Warehouse Shift Manager on behalf of a leading retail business based iin Wakefield.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the early morning warehouse shift, ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods.
- Supervise and motivate a team of warehouse associates, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of products, maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
- Implement and monitor operational procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, providing coaching and development opportunities for team members.
- Collaborate with other shift managers and departments to streamline operations and improve workflow.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational abilities
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software
