We are looking for a Mataerials Engineer to join our team in Cambridge.

You’ll:

• Identify scope for betterment to client’s specifications.

• Review, and oversee management of construction materials testing to meet project specific Appendix 1/5.

• Advise the engineering team of materials that can and cannot be used according to the Appendix 1/5. 

• Continuous engagement with 3rd party laboratories, to ensure the successful delivery of the Materials testing subcontract

• Continuous engagement with the engineering team to ensure the appropriate materials testing is carried out in line with the programme of works.

We’re looking for:

• Degree or alternative higher education qualification in Civil Engineering or considerable time served in a similar role.

• Knowledge and experience in the application of relevant industry specifications, such as The Specification for Highway Works.

• Conversant in relevant British and European standards.
