Venrec are pleased to be recruiting on behalf of our client for a Semi-Senior Accountant to join their accountancy practice in Croydon.

The role entails (but is not limited to):
- Liaising with clients and third parties as required.
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for clients with reconciliation and schedules to support all entries.
- Preparing VAT returns for clients with various needs and managing client queries.
- Performing book-keeping duties for clients when necessary.
- Reviewing work carried out by other members of the team.
- Ad hoc tasks as required by the company.
A successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience working within accountancy practices (ideally 3 years).
- Excellent organisation and time management.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with Excel, Sage and other accountancy softwares.
- Preferably be fully or part-qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA or AAT.
The salary for this position is £28,000 per annum.
Our client will provide help to become a qualified accountant for the right candidate.
