Our client, a leading global consultancy, are looking for an Assistive Technology Developer to join for an initial 6-month contract based in London, on a hybrid basis.
ROLE: ASSISTIVE TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPER
LOCATION: LONDON (HYBRID)
RATE: £500 A DAY INSIDE IR35
LENGTH: 6 MONTHS WITH SCOPE TO EXTEND
Key responsibilities:
- Developing, delivering and training colleagues with disabilities in using custom assistive technology (AT) JAWS script to support end user efficiency, productivity and accessibility
- Remediate existing JAWS scripts with new product version / OS releases
- Consolidation of existing JAWS scripts
- Support Digital Accessibility team to deliver tailored solution
Required skills and experience:
- 5+ years of experience using AT like
- JAWS – Required,
- Dragon Natural Speaking – Preferred,
- Supernova Maginfier and Screenreader – Preferred
- 2+ years of experience in working with a delivering 1:1 training people with disabilities
