HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic

Salary: £18.00ph
Contract Type: Permanent
Work Schedule: Rotating shift pattern 6am – 2pm / 10am – 6pm (Alt Sat 6am – 1pm paid @ £27ph)

We are currently seeking a dedicated HGV Technician / Mechanic to perform essential maintenance and repairs on heavy goods vehicles. This HGV Technician role is vital for ensuring vehicle reliability and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• As an HGV Technician, conduct routine maintenance and repairs in line with VOSA standards on trucks and trailers
• The HGV Technician will perform diagnostics and defect rectifications.
• Preparing vehicles for MOT inspections is a key duty for the HGV Technician.
• Maintain workshop cleanliness and inventory, a responsibility of the HGV Technician.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated experience in the HGV Technician field, with comprehensive vehicle maintenance knowledge.

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant discipline is preferable for an HGV Technician.
