Location – Magherafelt, Northen Ireland
Salary- £40,000-£70,000

Role Overview:
They are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and engineering projects, with specific experience in reinforcing and structural steel. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Management: Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
- Estimations and Bidding: Accurately estimate the cost of materials, labour, and equipment for new projects and prepare detailed bids.
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports, forecasts, and variance analyses to senior management.
- Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying within the construction or steel fabrication industry.
- Proficient in using industry-standard software for cost estimation and project management.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations.
