Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for a number of Information Managers from Graduate to Senior level, within the nuclear or defence sector to be engaged on a permanent basis in either Manchester or Bristol offering hybrid working.

• As Information Manager you'll be responsible for ensuring that our client's digital content is produced, stored and shared.
• Engage with customers and other external bodies
• You'll work with the appointing parties to understand the Project's: Information Requirements; Delivery Milestones; Information Standards; Production methods and procedures; reference information and shared resources; Information Management protocol.
• You'll work with our engineering and bid teams to establish the Pre-Appointment BIM Execution Plan.
• Support the completion, review and maintenance of Data Protection Impact Assessments
• Confirm the BIM execution plan and define the Master Information Delivery Plan in collaboration with the engineering and management teams.
• You'll support the mobilisation process, working with tools and technical leadership to configure elements such as the CDE and design delivery tools.
• You'll use your information management team to guide, support and audit task teams in the delivery of their Task Information Delivery Plans, to meet the Appointing Parties Requirements.
• You'll provide detailed advice and support to our teams around how changing technologies might help enhance and streamline their individual delivery processes, and then work with them to implement these technologies and capture the resulting benefits.
• Your work will optimise delivery, enhance quality, avoid errors and ultimately exceed client requirements, by being innovative and cost effective.

Requirements

• Degree level or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Science or other relevant discipline.
• Member of a professional institution - desirable.
• Complimentary or additional qualifications may include Data Systems, Data Analytics, ICE/BSi/BRE individual BIM Certification.
• Self-motivated and keen to learn across a range of technical subjects and engineering disciplines.
• Programming or application development experience - desirable.
• Experience with design authoring tools such as Civils 3D, AutoCAD or Microstation.
• An interest in GIS, data management, software coding and the like.
• This role requires candidates able to demonstrate leadership in delivery of BIM and Information Management systems and processes, with proven ability to engage and drive both learning and delivery.
