£60,000 - £61,000/annum

The successful SCADA system software engineer will involve working in an ISO 9001 quality environment and complying with industry expectations for documentation and quality expectations.

The role will involve:

  • Preparation and review of SCADA and HMI system documentation, design, build and test to the required standard
  • Planning and organizing SCADA and HMI development
  • Producing SCADA and HMI controls design and documentation within agreed budgets
  • Knowledge of software scripting (e.g. C Script, VBA, C#)
  • Knowledge of Virtualisation environments (ESXi, Hyper-V)
  • Understanding Network Architectures
  • Project SCADA and HMI technical support where necessary

To be successful in this role of SCADA system software engineer we would love to speak to anyone who has experience of:

  • GE iFix SCADA development (other SCADA systems also an advantage)
  • VBA scripting
  • Microsoft SQL
  • Siemens Step 7 and or Siemens TIA portal for PLC code development
  • Siemens WinCC flexible or TIA portal for HMI development
  • Rockwell PLC and HMI development
