Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing company that specializes in producing high performance vehicles is currently looking for a Build & Test Team Manager. The successful candidate will be involved in all phases of testing, from designing test parameters to troubleshooting errors and documenting final test procedures.

The Build & Test Team Manager will:
- Collaborate closely with the Engineering Design and Quality teams to implement these procedures effectively.
- Oversee the component life reporting process for assemblies and car builds to ensure all components are tracked and managed efficiently.
- Manage the preparation, build, and delivery of cars to ensure they meet the required specifications for all relevant test or marketing events.
- Lead and manage a team of technicians, focusing on their personal development and growth within the department.
- Provide guidance, training, and performance evaluations to support the team's success.
- Coordinate with test venues to book appropriate testing facilities, including generating risk assessments and other required paperwork.
- Arrange transport for the cars and equipment required for test events.
The Build & Test Team Manager will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or related field)
- Previous work experience as a test engineer.
- Knowledge of diagramming software such as AutoCAD
- Familiarity with testing tools, such as LabVIEW, MATLAB/ Simulink & CAN software
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Creative thinking and ability to troubleshoot outside the box.
