V7 are working with close client who are a rapidly expanding and well renowned Utilities Infrastructure business. Due to growth they are looking for an estimator to come on board on a full time, permanent basis.

On offer is a salary of £50,000-£60,000 plus annual bonus and unique company benefits.

The business offer a flexible working structure with hybrid opportunities.

  • Initial project feasibility, survey and estimation 
  • Responsible for estimation works across various utility infrastructures
  • Preparation of tenders 
  • site surveys and client scoping meetings -
  • Build and maintain good working relationships with clients, client’s professional representatives, sub-contractors and suppliers.
  • Read and fully understand client specifications and drawings
  • Understand documentation required for formal submissions 
  • Prepare material, labor, plant and subcontractor cost analysis
  • Prepare quotations to the required standard -Attend site visits and client meetings
  • Consider site safety, health, and environmental issues
  • Co-ordinate and liaise with suppliers, specialist sub-contractors and ‘in-house’ resources 
  • Compile and collate documentation, schedules, and data sheets etc. for inclusion into final formal proposal submissions
