Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + £500 Car Allowance Per Month + 17.5% Annual Bonus

What you'll be doing;

  • Working closely with the veolia team and the customer (GSK)
  • Delivering innovation and project suggestions for GSK and helping them to achieve their 2030 sustainability aspirations of zero waste.
  • Provide updates, and where necessary action plans, to the customer on changes to waste legislation with interpretation as to how they will affect client and their operations
  • Ensure tasks have been risk assessed and that safe systems of work have been developed and implemented
  • Encourage a positive health and safety culture amongst Veolia team, suppliers and contractors and all site users
  • Ensure all site operations are effective as possible - reviewing when new customer requirements or waste streams are issued and how they fit into the operation to ensure compliance and profitability
  • Measuring and monitoring operational, QHSE and financial KPIs
  • Prepare annual Budget, Forecasts for Veolia accounting purposes; and if required assist in preparation and tracking of client waste budget and forecasts
  • Managing client relationships with the customer and with Veolia Waste Operatives and Supervisor.
  • Comfortable managing teams of people on site or remotely
  • Competent in contract discussions with senior client management
  • Creating and maintaining month end invoicing along with reconciliation of Purchase orders with the support of operational administrators.

  • Nebosh Qualification
  • Waste Experience. Haz waste desirable but not essential
  • Experience of managing teams
  • Contract managing Experience
  • Finance knowledge including budgeting
  • Resilient mentality
