 About the role – What you’ll be doing:
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and intelligent Quantity Surveyor to manage the commercials of a £15m new build project in Cambridge. This multi-phase project consist of the building of a 100,000 sq ft Science Lab utilising RC Frame and finished to CAT A.
 
The successful candidate will work alongside a highly experienced Senior QS on this complex project, ensuring tight cost control while maintaining the highest quality of work. As new phases of the project begin the role will develop into a standalone QS position, offering the ability to progress quickly from number 2 to number 1.
 
The role involves overseeing all aspects of cost management, including tendering, valuations, payments, and variations, as well as preparing monthly cost reports and cash flows. The successful candidate will need to have experience in managing large-scale construction projects, including pre-construction and construction phases.

The successful candidate will be a team player who is also able to work independently when required.
