We are recruiting a Managing Practitioner – Social Care Qualified, to start immediately in Herefordshire, HR4.

• Rate: £27.56 PAYE p/h / £33.30 LTD p/h
• Hours: Monday – Friday | 37 hrs PW
• Contract: Temp to perm or ongoing contract
• Additional: £150 per week accommodation expense / 45p per mile Business Mileage
• Start date: 19/07/2024

Duties/Responsibilities: (full JD will be provided to shortlisted candidates)

• Assisting the Kinship Team Manager to lead the team
• Supporting and developing staff, carers, special guardians and private foster careers to help the children be the best they can be
• Completing extensive assessments & reports
• Building relationships with staff, stakeholders, agencies etc

Requirements:

• Fully quakified social worker required (DipSW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent)
• Extensive experience in safeguarding work, as well as fostering/Kinship care work
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in statutory social care
• Proven record in assessment, support & supervision of carers
• Enhanced DBS available on the online update service
