On behalf of our Client, KCS is currently hiring for the position of Estimator/Senior Estimator. This role is located in Wakefield and follows a Monday-Friday schedule from 8am to 4.30pm. The successful candidate will join our Commercial team and report to the Estimating Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Review construction drawings and perform take-offs.
- Prepare detailed quotations, proposals, and cost breakdowns that clearly outline the scope of work, cost components, and project timelines.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain accurate quotations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the curtain walling and rainscreen cladding industry, with a strong technical understanding.
- Familiarity with Schuco, Aluprof, and Wicona systems would be advantageous, but not essential.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Proactive and adaptable approach.
