Seeking a Safety Case Engineer for an Exciting Contract Opportunity in the UK Nuclear Sector

Are you passionate about safety and engineering? Do you have experience working within the nuclear sector? If so, we are looking for a talented Safety Case Engineer to join our team on a 12-month contract basis.

Our client is seeking an experienced professional who can provide expert advice on matters relating to safety case production and management. As part of this role, your primary responsibility will be supporting projects across all aspects of their lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality safety cases that meet regulatory requirements
- Provide technical expertise regarding risk assessments
- Review project documentation related to design changes or modifications
- Conduct periodic audits/inspections as required by regulations or company procedures

Qualifications & Skills Required:
The ideal candidate would possess some combination of these qualifications/skills.
-Demonstrated knowledge/experience producing complex hazard analyses/risk assessments utilizing fault tree analysis methodologies
-Familiarity with control systems design principles such as PLCs, HMI software packages etc.
-Proven ability interpreting state/federal/local codes/regulations pertaining specifically to radiation protection including those from NRC/FDA/EPA/OHSA
