Our client is seeking new engineers to join our expanding installation engineering team due to winning new projects and contracts across the UK. Our client is an NSI gold-standard company, so everything has to be done to the highest level.
We are looking for several individuals with fire and security experience, ideally with a level 3 qualification. Experience in any discipline is valued, and a fire qualification is desirable.
The engineer will work away 80% of the time. Their accommodation is paid for, and they are given a generous food allowance.
Fire and Security Installation Engineer Package:
- Salary up to £30,000
- Normal hours – 40hrs – Monday-Friday.
- Overtime available.
- Working away
- 20.5 days holiday + bank holidays. Rising to 23.5 after 1 year
- Travel paid after 30 mins each way.
- Progression to leadership is available
- Digs paid for and food allowance
- FIA and manufacturing training
Fire and Security Installation Engineer Main Responsibilities:
- Installation of Fire alarms, Access Control, Intruder alarms, Door Entry, CCTV etc.
- Small works on the above systems.
- Reporting to line manager
- Completing all paperwork accurately and on time.
- Your working week is planned for you
- Ideally, 2+ years of installation and running cable experience
- Knowledge of British Standards and Health and Safety.
- Full UK Driving License (max 6 points)
- Must be able to pass an Enhanced DBS check
- CSCS or ECS card.
- Manufacturer training is desirable, not essential.
- Level 3 qualification desirable.
- Can pass Security Screening
