  • PRU English Teacher based in Tooting, South West London
  • PRU English Teacher with strong behaviour management skills/experience
  • PRU English Teacher based in a challenging school
  • PRU specific experience preferable, but experience with other SEN accepted

The School - PRU English Teacher

A specialist Pupil Referral Unit in Tooting, South West London, the site cater to 60 children of secondary ages who have struggled to access mainstream education. The students have been referred to the site for a variety of reasons, such as: having an EHCP, being permanently excluded or having prolonged periods of absence from school.

The Role - PRU English Teacher

In this role as a PRU English Teacher, you will be teaching English to students across KS3 and KS4 who have been removed from the mainstream education system. The needs of the students at this site can be challenging, so the ideal PRU English Teacher will have prior experience of teaching within a Pupil Referral Unit (although experience of working within an SEMH school will also be relevant).
