As a proven Programme Manager you lead and manage high-stakes defence programmes and will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of List X projects, ensuring they meet stringent security, budgetary, and time requirements. As such you’ll be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in the defence sector, adept at navigating complex challenges and driving project success.

You will lead and manage List X projects, ensuring compliance with all security protocols. You will develop and execute programme plans, schedules, and budgets, coordinating cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and quality assurance, to achieve project goals. Monitoring project performance, identifying, and mitigating risks proactively is crucial. You will also foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, and subcontractors, ensuring all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and security.

You will already have proven experience as a Programme Manager in the defence sector. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate cross-functional teams are essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for stakeholder management. You should possess strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, and relevant qualifications in project management or a related field. Security clearance or eligibility to obtain it is a must.
