Job Title: 1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £29,000
Our client, a reputable Managed Service Provider (MSP) known for its excellent company culture and commitment to employee development, is seeking a talented 1st/2nd Line IT Support Engineer.
This role offers exceptional training opportunities and the chance to work with a diverse range of technologies. As the first point of contact for customer issues, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of IT hardware, servers, Office 365, and Windows environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support for a variety of IT issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to IT hardware, servers, Office 365, and Windows.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and technical issues.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on client systems.
- Collaborate with senior engineers and other team members to address complex issues.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of support requests and resolutions.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a 1st/2nd line support role.
- Strong knowledge of IT hardware, servers, Office 365, and Windows.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Customer-focused with a passion for delivering high-quality support.
