Are you a seasoned Project Manager professional with a passion for renewable energy? We are on the lookout for an experienced and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our Clients dynamic team. Our Client specialises in developing, designing, constructing, and maintaining energy solutions for commercial and private clients, and they are growing rapidly. You must have experience of managing a number of projects all at the same time and be comfortable and have experience of working with projects that are valued in the tens of £millions. Your Role

As a Project Manager, you will be at the heart of their projects, overseeing the planning, co-ordination, and execution of projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Project Planning: Developing detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
  • Contractor Management: Selecting and managing subcontractors, overseeing the bidding process, and negotiating contracts.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring all construction activities adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Site Inspections and Quality Assurance: Conducting regular site inspections and maintaining quality assurance processes.
  • Budget and Cost Control: Monitoring project budgets and expenses, implementing cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Fostering effective communication among team members and stakeholders, displaying strong leadership.
  • Timeline Management: Developing and maintaining project schedules to ensure milestones and deadlines are met.

What We are Looking For

  • Experience: 10 years in the construction industry, with at least 3 years as a Project Manager. Renewables experience is desirable but not essential.
  • Background: Electrical, civil, or roofing experience is advantageous. SMSTS qualification is desirable.
  • Skills: Excellent organisational and leadership skills, effective communication and reporting, problem-solving abilities, and risk management.
  • Requirements: Full clean driver's licence, ability to travel and stay away from home during projects.
