Customer Services Administrator

CD Waste Management Ltd is a leading and successful independent waste management and recycling company providing comprehensive waste collection services to schools, offices, hospitals, and various business premises throughout London and the South-East. With a fast-paced facility handling over 500 collections per day, our dedicated fleet of Dustcarts, RoRo’s, Skips, and other vehicles ensures efficient and environmentally responsible waste management.

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Collections team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our busy depot, ensuring that administrative tasks are handled efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Documentation and Record Keeping:
    1. Maintain accurate records of collections, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and filed appropriately.
  • Communication:
    1. Liaise with drivers, customers, and internal departments to coordinate collection schedules and address any administrative inquiries.
    2. Answering calls promptly and providing necessary information to customers.
    3. Communicating with customers about any disruptions to their regular service.
  • Data Entry:
    1. Maintaining and updating databases related to collections and services and logging and recording driver defects.
  • Customer Service:
    1. Handling customer queries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
    2. Directing calls to the appropriate department.
    3. Communicating with customers regarding service disruptions.
  • Coordination:
    1. Work closely with the Collections team to ensure smooth and organized operations.
  • Training:
    1. Attend and complete any necessary training sessions related to waste management procedures and administrative tasks.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role is essential.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in using basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

To be considered for this position, you will have a stable background as an administrator and must have good computer skills as well as being well organised and be able to deal with customer queries.

A basic salary of up to £30,000 and a steady career path within an established company is on offer.

Job Specifics

•          Working hours: Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 16:00

•          20 days holiday + Bank Holidays
