Customer Services Administrator
CD Waste Management Ltd is a leading and successful independent waste management and recycling company providing comprehensive waste collection services to schools, offices, hospitals, and various business premises throughout London and the South-East. With a fast-paced facility handling over 500 collections per day, our dedicated fleet of Dustcarts, RoRo’s, Skips, and other vehicles ensures efficient and environmentally responsible waste management.
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Collections team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of our busy depot, ensuring that administrative tasks are handled efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate records of collections, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed and filed appropriately.
- Communication:
- Liaise with drivers, customers, and internal departments to coordinate collection schedules and address any administrative inquiries.
- Answering calls promptly and providing necessary information to customers.
- Communicating with customers about any disruptions to their regular service.
- Data Entry:
- Maintaining and updating databases related to collections and services and logging and recording driver defects.
- Customer Service:
- Handling customer queries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
- Directing calls to the appropriate department.
- Communicating with customers regarding service disruptions.
- Coordination:
- Work closely with the Collections team to ensure smooth and organized operations.
- Training:
- Attend and complete any necessary training sessions related to waste management procedures and administrative tasks.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in an administrative role is essential.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in using basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
To be considered for this position, you will have a stable background as an administrator and must have good computer skills as well as being well organised and be able to deal with customer queries.
A basic salary of up to £30,000 and a steady career path within an established company is on offer.

• Working hours: Monday - Friday: 08:00 - 16:00
