Mixed Tax Supervisor required to join a leading chartered Accountants & Tax Advisers firm with 19 Principals and a team of over 250 professionals, we have established ourselves as a key player in the region. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist audit directors, senior managers, and managers with audit assignments.
  • Schedule appropriate staff for audit tasks.
  • Manage and assist with fieldwork.
  • Review and finalize files, highlighting key issues to the audit RI.
  • Communicate professionally with clients.
  • Set budgets and negotiate fees with clients.
  • Issue invoices as per the agreed billing schedule.
  • Monitor budget delivery and identify causes of overruns.
  • Participate in appraisals, reviews, and training needs identification.
  • Engage in business development and attend networking events.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • ACA or ACCA qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years post-qualification audit experience in a UK accountancy firm.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP.
  • Proficient in IT and familiar with computerized packages (preferably CaseWare).
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong ability to identify key risk areas during planning and completion stages.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and flexibly, as well as collaboratively in a team.
  • Positive attitude and ability to act as a role model.

Benefits and Employment Information:

  • Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with hybrid working options.
  • Competitive salary based on experience.

The benefits package includes:

  • Annual Christmas Bonus equivalent to one week’s salary.
  • Salary Sacrifice Pension Scheme with auto-enrolment (Employer: 5%; Employee: 3%), subject to eligibility.
