Successful manufacturer requires a Supply Chain Planner. Applicants need previous planning experience; production planning, materials planning, supply planning, demand planning experience can all be considered. Previous MRP/ERP experience is advantageous.

The Supply Chain Planner will join a team of Planners reporting to a Supply Chain Manager. This is an exciting, truly end-to-end supply chain role in which the Supply Chain Planner will be involved from customer order intake, raising job cards, monitoring progress of production plans and finally shipment of product to customer. The Supply Chain Planner will work closely with colleagues in; procurement, production and sales.

Specific duties of the Supply Chain Planner include:

  • Raise job cards, plan production and schedule manufacturing activities
  • Ownership of sales and customer order data in MRP
  • Monitor progress of production plans - inform procurement and customer of potential delays
  • Customer Account Management type activities
  • Interdepartmental liaison

Supply Chain Planner applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Planning experience, any of the following could work; production planner, materials planner, demand planner, supply planner
  • MRP/ERP experience or confident in the use of MS Excel
  • Organised and analytical
  • Collaborative, team player with strong communication skills
