Are you a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity? We are seeking a qualified Primary Teacher for a unique role at a primary school. This position involves teaching a Year 4 class in the mornings and providing PPA cover in the afternoons. The school is actively trialling and interviewing candidates now for a September start.







Primary Teacher - Position Details:

  • Role: Qualified Primary Teacher
  • Location: North London
  • Start Date: September 2024
  • Schedule: 5 days a week
  • Class Composition: Year 4 (12-14 children) in the mornings, PPA cover in EYFS, Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3 in the afternoons


Primary Teacher - Role Overview:

As a Qualified Primary Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching a split Year 4 class every morning, providing focused and tailored instruction to meet the needs of each student. In the afternoons, you will provide PPA cover across various year groups, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning in EYFS, Year 1, Year 2, and Year 3.



Key Responsibilities for the Primary Teacher:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in reading, writing, and maths for a small group of Year 4 students
  • Address the individual needs of students, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment
  • Provide PPA cover in the afternoons, delivering planned lessons and maintaining a positive classroom atmosphere
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support student learning and development
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities


Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching at the primary level, particularly with Key Stage 2
  • Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective teaching strategies
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment
