Role Essentials:
- Diligent maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems within heavy engineering settings
- Ensuring operational efficiency and reliability of electrical components and machinery
- Conducting scheduled maintenance checks and responding to equipment emergencies
- Adherence to health and safety regulations and best practices
- Collaboration with a team of skilled professionals to optimise electrical systems performance
Skills & Experience:
- Proven track record in electrical maintenance within a heavy engineering environment
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical diagrams and schematics
- Adept at using diagnostic tools to identify and resolve electrical issues
- Strong understanding of health and safety protocols related to electrical and heavy machinery work
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Relevant qualifications such as an HNC, HND, NVQ, or equivalent in electrical engineering
Shift Pattern:
- Two weeks of morning shifts: 06:00 to 14:00
- Followed by one week of afternoon shifts: 12:00 to 20:00
