Commercial Business Partner
Contract: 9 Month contract (Chance of extention)
Salary: Grade 8b/c Salary to £81,349 dependent on experience
Location: Hybrid - Flexible working across a number of UK office locations
We are working on behalf of a central government function to recruit an experienced procurement professional with a background in public sector procurement. The role will be focused on working with stakeholders to identify how services to the organisation can be procured and implemented across a variety of complex ICT base projects.
Responsibilities:
- Identifying requirement of the project with internal stateholders.
- Assessing most appropriate products, suppliers and procurement processes to be used to secure goods and services for the organisation.
- Working with procurement teams to engage with suppliers and manage relationships, internally and extyernally.
- Creatively assessing ways of delivering procurement projects within public sector procurement directives.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and experience of public sector procurement.
- Experience of procurement of ICT product and services contracts and categories.
- Solid, experienced procurement professional, who is self sufficient and a self starter.
- Highly commercially aware, and able to identify alternative sources and approaches towards delivering a service.
