Are you a qualified Solicitor, or Legal Executive looking for a new challenge? We are working with a leading energy company in the UK, who are seeking a Legal Counsel to join their UK Legal team and play a crucial role in helping the country transition to net zero. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact and contribute to the transformational change our client is driving in the energy sector.

The Role:

As a Legal Counsel, you will be involved in supporting the business and their functions on various matters. This could include; drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements, supporting on regulatory matters where required and working across the business on innovative project work.

About You:

  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with a minimum of 1 year PQE. Experience ideally within commercial, construction or regulatory law from either private practice or in-house.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Our client is committed to your development and will provide training, even if you do not have previous experience in the energy or utilities industry. However, having an interest in the sector is desired.
