The role: IT/HW Project Manager to lead an organisation project team and oversee the planning, strategy and execution of tasks to ensure the successful delivery an IT Hardware and Infrastructure replacement project. Their main tasks include network upgrading, hardware and software installations, Power supply routing and wi-fi installation.
The Role:
- Replacement of hardware/infrastructure
- Developing and managing project budgets
- Communicating with stakeholders, including IT managers, vendors, and executive leaders
- Leading risk management and mitigation efforts
- Gathering, analysing, and reporting IT metrics
Person Specification / Essential Criteria
- A solid understanding of IT systems
- Prior experience of replacing Hardware and Infrastructure in a large setting
- Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
- Leadership skills
- Ability to motivate IT staff
- Logical problem solver who can operate under constraints
- Strong organisational skills
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks
