Counterbalance Forklift Driver

Taskmaster are currently looking to recruit a Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join the expanding team of our client based in Baston.

Suitable candidates for the Forklift Driver position will be required:

• Ensuring all bays are kept organised and stock is replenished regularly from the three sites. 
• Transport goods from the relevant bays to Fit-Out department to maintain a constant flow of products within the manufacturing process.
• Ensure yards and bays are kept tidy, maintaining a good level of housekeeping.
• Waste and recycling.
• Inspect all goods before loading for defects and ensure the correct goods and full order is loaded on to the vehicle.
• Report any defects or issues with the goods or load to your Line Manager.
• Safe loading and unloading of vehicles following correct procedures.
• Complete all relevant paperwork when loading/unloading and ensure this is given to the relevant department.
• Completing daily forklift checks and reporting any faults to your Line Manager.
• Follow all H&S procedures and reporting any concerns to your Line Manager.

Experience:

• Excellent team player.
• Able to work in a busy environment under pressure.
• Previous experience working in a similar position.
• Positive can do attitude.
• Excellent team player.
• Valid Forklift & Driving Licence essential.
• An understanding of Health & Safety Procedures.

Shift: Monday-Friday 06:30 – 15:30

Pay rate: £12.60 PH
