Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEMH Teacher to join our unique primary school located just outside Kirkham. Our school caters specifically to children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, providing a supportive and engaging environment tailored to their individual requirements.

  • Small Class Sizes: With a maximum of 12 students in the entire school, we ensure personalized attention and support for each child.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver tailored lesson plans that meet the needs of students with SEMH.
  • Utilize our unique equestrian and outdoor facilities to create engaging and therapeutic learning experiences.
  • Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports the emotional and academic growth of each student.
  • Collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals to provide holistic support to our students.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.


Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience working with children with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
  • Strong commitment to inclusive education and the ability to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Ability to incorporate outdoor and hands-on learning experiences into the curriculum.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 14.3% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
