Fibre Installation Engineer (Residential Installs).
Northumberland.
£30,000-£35,000 + Company Vehicle + benefits.

My client are a fast growing ISP that lead the way with cutting edge solutions and a wealth of experience in providing rural full fibre connectivity to the most remote area’s of the UK.
Candidates will be based in the northeast working from their Head office in Alnwick, Northumberland where quality and safety are paramount, you will play a vital role in helping my client deliver Ultra-fast full fibre internet to rural Northumberland and county Durham.

My client is now seeking dynamic, ambitious individuals to join our Installations Team.

The Role:

You will play a pivotal role in our mission to give faultless broadband with unprecedented speeds. 

The Candidate:

My client is looking for Installations Engineers who want to become experts in their field. Useful backgrounds include: Experience with installation of full fibre networks, experience with fibre build and customer facing background.

· Experience with the Openreach Network is essential
· Able to survey and resolve complex overhead and underground installations.
· Knowledge and experience of civils related tasks involving direct in ground cable, soft digs and permits to work.
· Experience in tracking of fibre cables using a C.A.T & Genny.
· At least two years’ PIA experience.
· Knowledge of the network standards set out in CP08 and CP10.
· You will be astute, confident, professional, polite, happy working individually and in a team.
· Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Full clean driving licence (Company van provided).

Ideally you will live within 45 minutes drive of Alnwick, Northumberland.

Desired Accreditations:

· SA001 – Overhead Safety

· SA002 – Underground Safety

· NRSWA O1 – Streetworks Operatives card.
