Rate - up to £650 per day

Duration - 6 month initial contract

Overview:

FRG Technology Consulting are currently looking for an AWS Data Architect to undertake a 6 month initial contract with a large consultancy client.

An AWS Data Architect to manage a critical project for one of our biggest clients in banking domain. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in developing and managing cutting edge technology applications.

Technical Skills:

Programming Languages: Proficiency in Java (latest versions, e.g., Java 17)

Frameworks: Expertise in server-side development with Spring Boot (version 2.5+) and Spring Framework (version 5+)

Data Architecture: In-depth knowledge of data decomposition patterns. Strong experience in creating entities, Entity-Relationship (ER) diagrams, cardinality, and normalization, Proficiency in Physical Data Models (PDMs) and Logical Data Models (LDMs) representation

Data Types: Experience programming with polymorphic data types

Hands-on experience with Abstract Data Types (ADTs)

AWS Services: Extensive experience with AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) Proficiency with AWS Schema Conversion Tool (SCT)- Familiarity with other AWS services like AWS RDS, AWS Redshift, and AWS Glue |

Databases: - Relational databases: Proficiency in MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle NoSQL databases: Experience with DynamoDB and MongoDB

NewSQL databases: Familiarity with databases like Cockroach DB or Google Spanner Any experience with IBM DB2

Data Migration: Proficient in using data migration testing tools and methodologies

Additional Tools: Version control systems: Git, CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes - Monitoring and Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)

Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and ability to work in an agile environment
