Manpower are currently recruiting for Class 1 HGV drivers to work on behalf of one of our national Clients, delivering alcoholic beverages to depots and distribution centres.
New passes accepted however all drivers need to pass a driving assessment prior to commencing.
Pay- (£17.00ph Monday- Thursday for the first 9 hours, then it increases to £17.50 ph) (£17.55ph Friday/Saturday) (£20.35ph Sundays/Bank holiday)
Location- Start location varies between Newton Heath/ Cheadle Hulme
Length of assignment: Temporary Ongoing, immediate starts
Working days: the usual shift pattern is any 4 shifts out of 5 - usual working days are Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, flexibility is required should the volumes need additional days working, these are usually on a Tuesday or Wednesday.
Shift times: Start times can vary from 12pm - 6pm, the usual shift start times are between 16.00 and 18.00, shift length is approx.. 9-10 hours and should be no longer than 12 hours
Working on behalf of our national drinks & logistics client your job role will involve:

• Deliveries to other depots (singles drops- occasional maximum 2 drops)
• No hand balling
• Reporting vehicle defects
• Ensuring vehicles have been loaded correctly

Minimum requirements:

• (C+E) licence / Digi tacho & CPC cards
• Maximum 6 points for minor offences
• Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
• Customer service skills required
