Audio Visual Technician

Candidates would need to have strong all-round knowledge of audio, video and lighting systems, and be comfortable using the different interfaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring all meeting room equipment is operational and undertaking repairs as required
- Facilitating users with computer outputs to AV equipment
- Setting up video/audio conference equipment and enabling users
- Designing and implementing AV solutions for various events
- Operating equipment, such as sound desks and cameras as needed
- Logging all faults and changes to systems to expedite fixes in the future
- Other duties as required by management
- Previous experience in a facilities / AV warehouse and/or previous experience as an in-house Engineer/Technician
- Broad and comprehensive knowledge of Audio and Visual equipment
- Must be competent in operating a wide-range of equipment in live event scenarios, including sound desks and programmable lighting desks
- Windows & OSX expertise as end-users operate both systems
- Must have an understanding of networks, in particular multicasts, VLANS, and iptv systems
- Knowledge of a range of VC systems, i.e. Polycom, Cisco, Clearcom, etc
- Flexibility a must as events are primarily evening-based and attendance is expected
- Personable and amiable nature
- Willingness to learn
- Qualified Infocomm CTS accreditation or equivalent
- Project management experience
- Previous event experience
- CAD draughtsman skills
