Supervisor

Location: Colchester, (Mainly site based at various locations across Essex)

Full Time - 7:30 - 16:00

We are working with a market leader in the highways industry to recruit a Supervisor.

As a key member of our team, reporting to the Sub Agent, Agent, or Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in the successful on-site delivery of projects. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all contractual obligations are met, while adhering to the companies rigorous safety, quality, and sustainability standards, and maintaining compliance with agreed-upon schedules.

The Role

• Supervision of allocated works within the programme of works.
• Ensure that projects are developed and delivered safely on time and to budget as per the Works Information.
• Ensure that all projects comply with Health and Safety Regulations and CDM requirements.
• Review of Supply Chain Partners Risk Assessments, Method Statements and COSHH for all allocated schemes.
• Carry out site inductions and issue permits to work, promoting RJ’s Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Procedures at all times.

About You

• The following qualifications will be an advantage but are not essential. NRSWA Supervisor, SSSTS, SMSTS, CSCS Supervisor, Temporary Works Supervisor, First Aid at Work.
• Experience working in the construction industry, preferably highways work.
• Experience undertaking construction work in the vicinity of underground services preferred.
• Experience in the supervision or use of traffic management preferred.
• Current, Full Driving Licence is essential.
