Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5 pm

We are working with a well-established manufacturing business in Telford to recruit for a Marketing Executive on a permanent basis. They are looking for someone with ambition and drive to be responsible for the marketing of the company.  You will build brand awareness through the distribution channels, wholesale partners, OEM’s, contractors and others to assist the company in achieving its business objectives and revenue targets. Our client is looking for someone who is well presented, driven and enthusiastic along with excellent communication and organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at a time. This role is perfect for someone wishing to progress in their career.

You will be responsible for:

• Developing and executing marketing strategies for products and services that meet customer needs and business objectives.
• Coordinating and facilitating marketing activities.
• Developing and managing marketing budgets.
• Analysing customer insights and market trends to develop marketing plans.
• Developing creative content across social media and other digital channels.
• Monitoring and reporting on the performance of campaigns.
• Booking company events as required.
• Attending events and trade shows.
• Developing and growing the company’s brand awareness.
• Researching and identifying new marketing opportunities.
• Ownership of the company websites.
• Creation of marketing material such as catalogues, manuals, flyers, web banners and image editing.
• Participating in internal sales meetings.
• Purchasing of promotional materials and business workwear.
• Liaising directly with customer marketing departments to develop joint campaigns and strategies.
• Liaising directly with marketing related service providers.

Skills and Experience

• You will be proficient in MS Office, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite and other marketing related software programs.
• You will have an understanding of commercial drivers in B2B environments withing the industry.
• 2+ years’ experience in a B2B marketing environment.
• You will have previous experience in a Marketing/ Digital Marketing role
• Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines when the business requires.
• Confidence to contribute ideas and suggestions to improve the effectiveness of performance and marketing activity.
• It is essential that you have a minimum of 4 GCSE’s or equivalent at grade C and above including Maths and English and a Marketing/ Business qualifications incorporating elements of digital and offline marketing.
• It is preferable that you have a Marketing/ Business HNC, HND or Degree qualification incorporating elements of digital and offline marketing.
