You will be joining a global logistics provider with excellent benefits!

Induction and Day 1: Friday 12/07/2024, Successful candidates would be working on Day shift for 1 week 15th-19th July doing 09:15am until 17:15pm and then from Monday 22/07/2024 switching to Rotating shifts.

Typical hours and pay rates as a Warehouse Operative:

• Day shift Pay rate: £11.44p/h, Monday to Friday 09:15am until 17:15pm
• Rotating shifts Pay rate: From £12.30 per hour, Shifts Monday to Friday. Every 5th week Required to work a Sunday to Thursday.
• Rotating shifts AM/PM: 06:00am until14:00pm and 14:00PM until 22:00pm switching Weekly between AM and PM hours.
• There is limited public transport/bus links by the job location and the current services only run during set hours of the day which are outside of the rotating shifts AM start time and the PM shift finish time. For a candidate to be suitable for placement they would have to have their own reliable transport to reach the work location
• Shifts pattern and hours are non-negotiable are we will not be considering any Part-time enquiries.

Ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate the following skills:

• Willing to handle Alcohol, i.e wine bottles
• General labouring duties as a warehouse operative
• Good level of communication
• Adhering to and upholding strict Health and Safety standards

Your role as a Warehouse Operative:

• Picking and Packing items ready for distribution
• Using a handheld scanner to sort items
• Boxing items on a line/station and rework area
• Manual Lifting involved (up to 23 KG)
• Unloading & Loading containers
• Wrapping and Unwrapping Pallets
• Adhering to and upholding strict Health and Safety standards
• Ensuring the warehouse is always clean

Requirements:

• PPE is required, but we can provide this
• Reliable form of transportation to work location
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must already have and hold a legal status to work in the UK
