We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our client's fantastic team and contribute to the design and analysis of various structures. The ideal candidate will be a chartered or near chartered membership of IstructE, with a strong foundation in engineering principles and a knack for innovative problem-solving.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Design and analyse structures using engineering software and calculations to ensure structural integrity and compliance with building codes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and other professionals throughout the design and construction process.
- Perform structural analysis and calculations using software such as Staad Pro.
- Develop cost-effective, safe, and sustainable design solutions to meet project challenges.
- Provide technical support during the construction phase to ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Mentor Graduate Engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Chartered or Near Chartered Status with IstructE.
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD) and structural analysis software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
