Orbital Recruitment are currently looking for a HVAC/Refrigeration Engineer for our client based in the Midlands area.

Service and Maintenance, Installation and Deinstallation of all Temporary Hire Kit

Objectives:

• To manage and action the installation of hire Chillers, portable split units and AHU’s.
• To service in the warehouse and on sites.
• To attend breakdown calls.
• To assist with the on call rota
• To install other products as added to the range.

Main Duties:

• Installations
• Breakdowns
•  Stock Hire ready re standards and accuracy
•  Training staff on Chiller service and cooling related topics
•  Compliance to SOPS 
• Ensuring stock is ready for contracts that are going out for hire
•  Use of company computer system to record service and breakdown works
•  Yard works to ensure stock is serviced
•  Any other duties reasonably requested

Experience Needed/ About You:

Essential:

• FGAS Good electrical understanding – able to read wiring diagrams and use testing equipment to find and prove faults
• Ability to be a self starter and have a ‘can do attitude’
• Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable:

• Previous experience of HVAC hire industry
• Computer literate an advantage

Pay/ Salary:

• £40,000 - £45,000 per annum Dependant on experience

Hours & Contract Type:

• Based - remote, working Hours 0800 - 1700
• 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays)
