Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding career as a Commercial Project Manager in the electricity distribution industry? If yes, then UK Power Networks has an exciting opportunity for you to join our Major Connections Infrastructure Team based in our Borehamwood or Bury St Edmunds office.

As a Commercial Project Manager, you will manage several major connections infrastructure projects, involving diversions and new supplies for clients such as National Grid, National Highways, Network Rail, and HS2. You will be responsible for the full life cycle of the projects, from initial enquiry to post contract management, ensuring regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and financial control. You will also liaise with various stakeholders across the company and external parties, such as Asset Management, Capital Programme delivery team, delivery partners, marketing and key account management, finance, legal, regulation, and network governance.

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree, HNC or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering and recent relevant project management experience within the electrical industry and distribution networks (design or construction).You will also need an understanding and use of Microsoft Office packages, the Project Governance and Control process, and the LV, HV and EHV networks in the UKPN footprints.
