Secondary Teacher (Daily supply)

Location: Newcastle

Salary: £140 - £240 per day

Contract: Full Time/ Temporary

Start: ASAP

GSL Education are looking for a passionate Secondary Teacher on a daily supply basis to join a vibrant school in Newcastle. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering school curriculum to secondary level students.

Job Summary:

  • Teach secondary level students to focus on developing both their written and oral language skills.
  • Engage students with a variety of texts, encouraging analytical and critical thinking.
  • Plan and execute lessons that effectively meet the learning objectives and needs of all students.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to promote improvement.
  • Prepare students for secondary qualifications and assessments in line with the national curriculum standards.
  • Collaborate with other department members to develop teaching materials and participate in departmental initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in English.
  • Preferably have experience in teachingat secondary level.
  • Excellent command of the classroom and have a passion for teaching.
