Main Responsibilities:
- Act as highways discipline technical lead, ensuring timely, high-quality, and financially sound project delivery.
- Manage and train staff, set an example, and foster client relationships.
- Prepare fee estimates, proposals, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with engineers across offices and technical groups.
- Control project documentation and engage with clients.
- Manage site examinations and investigations safely and effectively.
- Identify and manage project risks.
Required Experience:
- In-depth knowledge of DMRB/MCHW and significant road project design experience.
- Strong highways design skills and stakeholder liaison experience.
- Professional Qualifications: CEng + MICE and/or MIHT, or near-chartered engineer with 10-15 years of experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.
Desirable Experience:
- Proficiency in software such as MicroStation, Microsoft Project, Civils 3D, MX, Infraworks, Windes/Microdrainage.
- Experience in various design aspects and supporting Design and Build schemes.
- Understanding related disciplines like structures, earthworks, ITS, landscaping, road safety, and traffic analysis.
