Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as highways discipline technical lead, ensuring timely, high-quality, and financially sound project delivery.
  • Manage and train staff, set an example, and foster client relationships.
  • Prepare fee estimates, proposals, and resource plans.
  • Coordinate with engineers across offices and technical groups.
  • Control project documentation and engage with clients.
  • Manage site examinations and investigations safely and effectively.
  • Identify and manage project risks.

Required Experience:

  • In-depth knowledge of DMRB/MCHW and significant road project design experience.
  • Strong highways design skills and stakeholder liaison experience.
  • Professional Qualifications: CEng + MICE and/or MIHT, or near-chartered engineer with 10-15 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD.

Desirable Experience:

  • Proficiency in software such as MicroStation, Microsoft Project, Civils 3D, MX, Infraworks, Windes/Microdrainage.
  • Experience in various design aspects and supporting Design and Build schemes.
  • Understanding related disciplines like structures, earthworks, ITS, landscaping, road safety, and traffic analysis.
