We are looking for a Refuse Driver 7.5T in Dorchester. We are seeking a reliable and experienced 7.5T Driver to to be submitted to the next paid induction in Dorchester on 13th June (around 4 hours).
Pay
£12.18 per hour
Hours
06:00 - 14:00 (13:30 Friday)
The role of a Driver
- You will be responsible for transporting waste to various locations.
- This position requires strong communication skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate different types of vehicles.
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods and materials
- Load and unload, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
- Communicate with team members to ensure efficient delivery
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
Requirements:
- To be considered for this post you must hold a minimum Category C (7.5T) driving licence
- A current digital tachograph card and evidence of a completed Drivers CPC qualification is essential
- Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Ability to lift heavy objects and handle physical demands of the job
- High level of attention to detail and safety consciousness
- To conform with strict health and safety requirements, the role is subject to random and regular drug testing
- Bank holiday working could be a requirement (1.5x pay increase)
