freight forwarding Operator required for a freight forwarding company. This role will be split between supporting the freight forwarders, quotes for road freight and supporting with some account management. This is a varied role, which is fantastic for learning more skills within the freight forwarding sector. Freight forwarding operator, 26-30k, Basildon area. This freight forwarder covers Road, Air and Ocean freight. 

The role
We are looking for a Operator to support the freight forwarding team and the account management team. You will support the freight forwarders by Maintaining the operations system ensuring customer bookings are accurately recorded, Maintaining regular communication with sales teams reporting new sales leads and handover of shipments, Dealing with customer/client complaints, Maintaining key accounts and ensuring general enquiries are expedited. You will also Quote cross trade consignments, Booking deliveries in with customers and Build strong relationships with customers. This role is split between freight forwarding, road freight pricing and account management. This role will include all the normal freight forwarding Operator & pricing & key account management  duties

Experience:
This freight forwarder does cover Air, Road and Air freight, knowledge within any of them is helpful but not essential, The key knowledge required is Knowledge of road freight market rates and services, the ability to quote accordingly.
