Vocational Manager


Job Outline:
Manpower is currently recruiting for a Vocational manager to join the team of one of our education, training centre clients based within Milton Keynes. The role will entail the leading of the Vocational Curriculum within the education department, ensuring high standards and compliance with the national curriculum framework.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Leadership: Plan, develop, and lead vocational curriculum areas, maintaining compliance with national standards.
  • Safeguarding: Ensure the safety and well-being of learners.
  • Team Management: Oversee delivery teams, mentor staff, and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Teaching: Deliver designated teaching hours with flexibility across curriculum areas.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Collaborate with key stakeholders for an integrated approach to education and care.
  • Monitoring & Assessment: Track learner progress, conduct assessments, and support qualifications achievement.
  • Material Development: Assist in creating consistent, high-quality educational materials.
  • Documentation: Complete necessary documentation for company and awarding bodies.
  • Environment Management: Maintain a secure and supportive teaching environment.

Desirable:

  • IQA Qualification/Experience.
