We are looking for a Caretaker to join a fast-growing manufacturing firm at their site based in Stockport.

This role is perfect for a proactive individual with a knack for machinery repair and general maintenance tasks.

What will you be doing as a Caretaker?

• Maintaining and checking all cleaning machines
• Keeping stores tidy & performing weekly stock checks
• Moving vehicles on site and checking pool vehicles regularly
• Making short trips to collect items from suppliers or deliver equipment
• Performing PAT testing on equipment (training provided if needed)
• Keeping fleet vehicles clean and completing weekly vehicle checks
• Opening the building each morning and helping technicians get their vans ready
• Arranging and supervising contractors for on-site repairs
• Performing basic repairs and maintenance tasks as needed

What do you need?

• Previous experience as a caretaker
• Previous experience in machinery repair
• Full UK driving license
• PAT testing experience (desirable)
• The ability to perform general maintenance tasks
