Job description
Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Location: Southampton
Type: Full Time/Part Time
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our schools in Southampton. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside our experienced teachers to support and inspire our students to achieve their full potential.
Qualifications are not required, however relevant experience in a school or nursery setting is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the classroom teacher in the planning and delivery of lessons.
- Work with individual students or small groups to provide additional support and guidance.
- Help to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Assist with classroom management and behaviour management.
- Support the assessment and recording of student progress.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions as required.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience as a Teaching Assistant or similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Passion for working with children and helping them to achieve their potential.
