One Call Consultants are currently looking for an Experienced - Customer Service Coordinator for a very good client of ours based in Felixstowe.

Job Purpose - To ensure customer needs are met and ensure all details are correct for the operational side of the business.

Hours : 8:00 am - 17:30pm

Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Oversee data entry into Truckcom
  • Ensure all bookings are correct in the form of a daily call over
  • Ensure all releases are in place ready for collection
  • Any containers that are not ready for collection to be discussed directly with the customer in a timely fashion.
  • Any issues with booking times to be addressed directly with the customer the day before the booking date, ideally two days before if possible.
  • Maintain a close and good working relationship with the customer.
  • Customer can or will have access to Truckcom, encourage the customer to utilise this tool to track any late runners and download PODS
  • Late runners must be advised to the customer in good time, all late runners and other issues to be monitored until the job has been completed.
  • Solve simple customer concerns, the core responsibility of customer service is to be able to

· answer any concerns the customer may have

· • React quickly to sudden issues offering the customer our full support

· • Ensure the job is rated Correctly

· • Mark the job as ready to invoice

  • Ad hoc duties as required

Skills & Attributes :

  • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point
  • Proficient in Felixstowe, Southampton & London Gateway port systems
  • Ability to question, challenge and improve upon existing processes
  • Ability to work in a small team in addition to having experience of establishing strong working relationships with colleagues from other areas
  • Be able to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task with a calm and flexible approach
  • Ability to prioritise

  • Enthusiasm to learn and to progress through experience and training
  • Capable of operating with minimal supervision within broad guidelines
