Quality Engineer - Larne, Belfast - Up to £26/hr - Inside IR35

12 month initial contract (expected to be long-term) - 4 Day week Mon - Thu

Do you have a quality background with experience in auditing and RCCA? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a a world leader in construction and mining equipment recruit a Quality Engineer, and the role comes with a contract rate of £26.00 per hour.

As a Quality Engineer, you will perform advanced inspection and audits to track, analyse, and report on materials, processes, and products to ensure conformance to company's quality standards. You will also interact with manufacturing team members to determine the root cause of quality issues and ensure that corrective and preventive action is implemented.

In your first few weeks in this Quality Engineer role, you can expect to:

• Conduct measurement systems analysis; gather, analyse, and communicate non-conformance data
• Analyse non-conformance data and maintain quality system documentation
• Participate in and offer technical support to internal and external audits.

To apply for this Quality Engineer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

• Degree or equivalent experience
• Auditing
• Knowledge of the concepts, principles and techniques of root cause corrective analysis (RCCA)
• The ability to accurately gauge the impact and cost of errors, omissions, and oversights
• Ability to process limited amounts of detailed information with good accuracy
• Microsoft Office, SAP & Power BI highly desirable
