IT Long-Range Planning Lead - London/Hybrid

Hybrid - 2 days on site

Salary - Up to £70,000 per annum

IT Long-Range Planning Lead required for a leading client based in London. My client is currently seeking a Long-Range Planning Lead to come onboard to oversee and refine action plans to ensure they align with strategic objectives, taking responsibility for identifying and addressing obstacles that may impede the strategic plan. This role is crucial in turning visionary goals into tangible outcomes by integrating strategic foresight, careful planning, and efficient execution.

Key Responsibilities:

 Lead Long-Range Planning (LRP) activities by managing resources, capacity, and dependencies, and contribute to key meetings to enhance processes, tools, and practices across the group

 Work with executives and managers to develop the long-term strategic IT plan.

 Partner with business unit administrators and line managers to create IT plans that add value, regularly evaluating these plans.

 Formulate a strategic plan for the company, outlining long-term goals and short-term objectives aligned with the company's mission statement.

 Participate in meetings with external stakeholders such as investors, partners, and suppliers.

 Conduct research to uncover new growth opportunities in existing markets or to develop new markets.

 Collaborate with the executive team to ensure departmental alignment towards common goals.

 Assess new technologies to evaluate their potential integration into the company's operations.

 Prepare reports detailing progress towards goals, identify obstacles to success, and recommend solutions.

 Provide analytical support to the company's taskforces and working groups in project and portfolio management.

Key Skills:

 ITIL and COBIT certifications are desirable.

 Experience in IT governance and portfolio management.

 Comprehensive knowledge of business administration, management, and business forecasting strategies and techniques, with proactive problem-solving and innovative thinking.

 PMP certification or equivalent experience.
